I see you, MCRmy, feverishly opening this article, cracking your knuckles, and preparing to type “well, actually, MCR doesn’t have a bad song”, but in this ranking battle there will be a winner. So, with MCR making their valiant return with what seems to be the setup for an upcoming album, it’s the perfect time to take a close, judgemental look at their already existing discography. They released their first single since their 2019 reunion, 'The Foundations of Decay', on and have embarked on a (somewhat bizarrely mapped) tour across the UK. By the way, shout out to our producer Matt Squire for killing it on this record.My Chemical Romance are back, and properly this time. I think that this album is badass.ĬK: I love it, and I don’t think that it got the love that it deserved.ĬK: It’s only because I have friends in holy spaces.ĬK: Build God, then we’ll talk. SW: A trade mistake is having this album be the runner up. Full disclosure: This album is tied for #2 for me.ĬK: That sounds like some trade mistakes, Mr. SW: “The Ballad Of Mona Lisa” is definitely my favorite Panic! opening track.ĬK: A bop for sure. SW: And you love the title track don’t you?ĬK: “Sarah Smiles” is THE bop. I feel that this album foreshadowed the following album. SW: Speaking of golden, “Emperor’s New Clothes” is the definition of the color.
SW: LA has the good, the bad, and the dirty. It lost a little value because it was really overplayed, but like a fine wine, I’m sure that it will age gracefully.ĬK: That letter sounds like an LA Devotee type deal. I think that this album may have been ranked higher for me if it wasn’t so new. Panic’s newest record is the band’s biggest release in quite a while.ĬK: It’s huge. (2013).I couldn’t think of a better person to rank Panic’s catalog with. Never Loved is currently in the studio recording its debut LP with Matt Squire, who produced Panic’s breakout record A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out. Cameron is a fan of Panic! at the Disco’s entire catalog. Cameron Knopp is an equally fun front-man for said alternative pop rock group.
